Notes from Wankaner: building a Catalan vault.

We arrived in Wankaner on a Tuesday. By Thursday, the first tile of the vault was set, balanced on nothing but quick-setting gypsum and the certainty of the mason who set it.

Three weeks later, the vault stood. It will outlive us all.
